This July 4th weekend (Sun July 7) Spine will host over 40 artists and artisans, crafters and creatives, feature the band Casting Runes throughout the day, and a series of open mic moments to help us celebrate our independence.

Spine Indie Bookstore & Cafe is a consignment bookstore stocked exclusively with indie authors and publishers, a cafe, and small event space designed to foster conversations and ctreativity in a safe environment.

We offer various live events in the evening from 6pm - 10pm:
SUNDAY NIGHT: Poetry with a featured poet and open mic, hosted by Lesley Day.
MONDAY NIGHT: Author showcase.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Comedy with a featured comedian and open mic, hosted by Andrew Gieselmann. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Music open mic, hosted by David Loeb every 1st and 4th Wed, Eric Keeney every 2nd Wed, Jason Krena every 3rd Wed, and Jared Gab on the occasional 5th Wed.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Every 3rd Thursday:
UnSeen St. Louis, facilitated by Jackie Dana. Unseen St. Louis are presentations about the forgotten, destroyed, unfamiliar history of STL.
Every 4th Thursday:
The Moth-inspired storytelling night: "Grilled Cheese Storytime" hosted by Nicky "Cheese" Randall, with featured speakers and open mic.
FRIDAY DAY: Tarot and oracle reading from Lady Lyre, 2-4:30.
Jackie Dana's Writing Group, 1-5.
FRIDAY NIGHT: is open for private parties.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Singer/songwriter showcase.
